Ipod Speakers
Looking for some help on buying speakers/stereo for my Ipod. I am having my Wedding Party at my house in my backyard and we do not want a DJ so we were looking into buying a "dock" for the Ipod. Anyone have one or heard good things about any of the brands out there. Looking to spend $200ish or under, however can go higher if needed.
Something along the lines of this is what we are looking for if my description sucks

I have the 4gig Video Nano if that matters.

You don't exactly need anything special...any set of computer speakers with a 1/8" plug works. Or a Y-splitter to RCA jacks plugged into a regular home audio system.
The iPod docks simply allow for charging/remote control type stuff, and are usually a lot more expensive than they should be, considering. Personally, I would invest in something decent that you'd keep using afterwards.
I use this amp for my PC audio http://www.amazon.com/AudioSource-Am...6608676&sr=8-1 with a pair of Mission bookshelf speakers. You could also get a decent entry-level home theater receiver for $100 or so. The amp is just a lot smaller, and has cleaner amplification (at least, compared to most recievers I've had).
You should be able to find some decent bookshelf speakers for $100 or so, which should be workable for your wedding, and then useful afterwards.
Basically, if you have a $200 budget, you can build a basic stereo system to use in your home...somewhere.
Depending on the volume and amount of space you need to cover, that sort of system may not be great either...but it'd still do a ton better than a glorified boombox. If you're just looking for something to put some background music through in a regular sized yard, should be fine.
You could always just ask around to see if someone could bring their stereo too. Or see if someone has, or has access to, a proper PA type system.
If you really, really don't need much and want to keep things as cheap as you can, just buy some PC speakers. Same shit that you'd get with an iPod dock anyway, just more wires.

Sounds good, I will look around, thanks for the response!
Edit: After reading reviews on the Ipod docks, most seem like they would be shit for what I need it for.
