    Network connections not showing

My internet on my desktop has always worked fine, except that nothing would ever show up under the network connections.

This however is a problem now because I can't install the stuff for my school's internet on my desktop because it can't find any network connections -.-

Under device manager I have an nvidia network controller and the 1934 thing. Thanks in advance.

(also, I can't connect to gamesurge here;;;; I'm thinking port 6667 is blocked or something, connected to espernet and rizon with no problems though :/)

I got a little further in the installation, right now it needs to fix these settings but the program couldn't fix it by itself.

Following settings need to be addressed:

Authentication mode needs to be set to user only
EAP type PEAP needs to be selected
Fast Reconnect needs to be anabled
Automatically use Windows logon needs to be disabled
Rusted Root CA IPS SERVIDORES needs to be selected

Uh, have you run the network setup wizard?

Oh for a moment I thought you had the same issue as I do on my home desktop. I actually have no network devices showing up at all. I also can't add a new one, yet my network itself works. I just can't find any of the other computers on my network and they can't find me but they can ping me.

I had this same issue when I switched my wireless adapter from a internal Motorola card to an external Linksys USB box. No network connection shows up, no wireless network icon appears in the taskbar anymore near the clock, but my network is on and running.

This is the important part here, USB devices don't operate on the windows IP stack so they don't show up as "networking".

If you're using an ethernet NIC directly and it doesn't show networking devices, then idk wtf lol.
