Anyone know of some good NES games?

Feel like emulatin' this weekend and just wondering if anyone has any old-school NES favorites they'd like to recommend. Any types of games are welcome but I'm a big fan of platformers and RPGs.

Some of my old favorites are:
Mario games
Clash @ Demonhead (seriously underrated)
Dragon Warrior series
Final Fantasy series... well, the first and third anyway.
Mega Man games
Ghouls and Ghosts (better on SNES but w/e)
Astynax
Castlevania series

I really love random no-name one-off games like Clash @ Demonhead, sometimes a lot more than actual series, so if you know of any random games like that I'd love to hear of them.

Wizards and Warriors, fuck yea... I was trying to remember the name of that one and I couldn't. Those games were awesome, esp. the second one.

Oh fuck yes Mendel Palace, I love that game. There were a lot of action/puzzlers for the NES that were pretty sweet actually, now that I think of it... Solomon's Quest, Kickle Cubicle, probably a lot more I can't think of right now.

Little Nemo the Dream Master was a great game made by capcom, one of the best on Nintendo IMO. Blaster Master, Zelda series, Batman was really good. Ninja Turtles for beat up up kinda games.

Kirby's Adventure is awesomesauce, <3 it.

Dragon Quest (i think) was a fun one, Guardian Legends is good as metioned. Journey to Silius is an interesting shooter. Both Zelda's are pretty fun if you've never played them. Some all time classics like metroid & kid icarus would be up there too.

Milon's is awesome but so difficult it borders on insanity, love it though.

Kirby's Adventure is sweet, although I'm kinda feeling like I'm in an old-school mode - you know, when fluid controls were naught but a pipe dream and beating a game was more about memorizing the enemy patterns and levels as opposed to actually being able to control your character.

Crystalis is god and I have played it probably more times than any other NES game, maybe even any other game period.

Bubble Bobble is runner-up for god, platforming bliss at its finest (although the controls are a bit stiff, at least that's my excuse for why I suck so bad at it).

Never heard of Guardian Legends, I'll have to put it first on my list what with the multiple recommendations.

I beat Milon's Secret Castle without game genie or save states when I was bored one night in high school. The ending sucked.

Battletoads remains the hardest game ever for my money.

Crystalis is one of the most overlooked NES action/rpgs. Great game.
