Level sync flag!

I'm not sure if this is the place to post this or not but SE should implement a level sync flag looking for party. Allowing party leaders to effeciently look for players that wish to level sync. It could be like a double LFP flag.

Move this or delete it if it needs to be either.

Based on my experiences, most people have trouble reading search comments. I don't think a specific flag would work though.

Well in most cases people these days don't really use the comment function. I'd say maybe 30% of the population?

They could easily do this as another invite flag similar to autogroup. Sure people could just use comments, but then again why have a party seek flag at all? Just put in your comment that you want a party.

Ive played FFXI so long and still have no idea how the fuck "Autogroup" aka the Red Flag of queerness works. lol.

I doubt people would look for sync flags, id rather see multiple job LFP honestly.

From what I remember, when you turn on autogroup, it begins looking for other people in the same region who also have the autogroup flag on. If there are at least four people in the region who are near each other in level, and can form a suitable party, it automatically forms a party from those people (and will form a party of up to six.)

Apparently, it has some interesting ideas of what constitutes a suitable party. I remember hearing that it tries to pick a healer, a support of some kind, a tank, and then fills out the party with DDs. Of course, this is going by SE's definitions of what jobs can fill those roles.

I remember SE saying somewhere that Auto-Group still doesn't work the way they intended.. I love getting an invite and them asking tnl? When it says it right in my seacom, obviouslly people do not pay attention to them.

yea this is true too. ill be honest and say most of the time i don't bother reading their msg when it doesn't appear. once it does appear and ive answered my own question by waiting 3seconds i quickly retell them 'please forgive me' or 'mistake' or simply 'nvm'

I've had some great exp parties getting my WAR to 75 by putting "level synk >> 60 OK" in my seacom. That's beacause I kept 59+ gears available for ToAU zones. But I still got invites for fucking Dunes parties! So no... a seperate icon isn't needed. People just need to read the seacom messages properly. How hard is it?!

/sea all job *lvl*-75 reading all the seacoms per job per member. You're looking at a lot of time just looking for members. When you didn't have members your level before it was already stressful constantly /sea all job waiting for someone to pop. Imagine how annoying it would be to do that with every job lvl. It isn't hard but it'd time consuming.

From the few level sync'd parties I've had, I didn't have anything about level sync in my seacom but the person sending me a tell let me know it was a level sync party. So I don't really see the need for a special flag as long as you use your seacom and/or the person inviting says something.
