So you cant sue a Homeless person?
What has to world come too
HAHA I love America, we will try to sue the fuck out of anything!
"Goddamm fucking tree's, fuck your pollen and my bad allergies! You'll hear from my attorney you sons of bitches."
It's really a good thing he didn't take the bar exam, it would've been a rather impressive waste of time.
The court did not acknowledge God's existence, because deciding the existence or nonexistence of the plaintiff is not their problem nor responsibility. It suffices that they were unable to serve papers, which makes the existence or lack thereof irrelevant. The court system in general certainly doesn't assert the existence of God either, it'd be a flagrant violation of the separation of church and state.
Yea, at first I thought he made a brilliant point until I read it a second time. Inability to serve papers is not an acknowledgement of existence... if anything it's a question of his existence - if we can't serve papers to him, does he really exist?
Fuck that, I'm suing the internet. I'm tired of these shitty download speeds interrupting my gameplay that I pay for.
Wow...just...wow.
Never have the words of Larry the Cable Guy (of all people) seem to ring so true:
That being said, count me in on the allergy lawsuit anyways lol.All these people suing people, it's ridiculous. Some lady sued McDonald's for having her coffee too hot and won. Can you believe that? That's like me suing Hustler for getting Carpal Tunnel!
This is Ernie Chambers, he is an awesome man.
Knowing what he's done in the past, I doubt he's completely 100% serious in this matter. Still 100% awesome haha
I thought this was a joke lawsuit, but I'm not sure anymore if he's not being serious about it.
I agree with Zhais, Ernie Chambers is a genius, not your run-of-the-mill, god-suing nutjob.

Sen. Chambers said his action was in response to another lawsuit filed in the state court that he considers to be frivolous and inappropriate.[14] In that case a woman was taking Lancaster County Judge Jeffre Cheuvront to federal court for ruling that the words "rape", "sexual assault kit", "victim", and "assailant" could not be used in her testimony.[15]
He's serious about it not being serious.
It wasn't a joke lawsuit, Ernie is just that fucking crazy. Hopefully this is closing in on being one of his last stunts as new term limits finally took him out of the Unicameral here.
He is one of the most racist black men I have ever seen. He is our very own Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson.
Yeah, he has been involved with Nebraska politics and movements dating back to the 60's, much with a lot of tolerance. He has become a laughing stock for 90% of the state for the last 15-20 years.
However, he has helped close many loopholes and filibuster a lot of bills in the Unicameral. His current crusade (and one I support) is calling a special session to close the loophole in the "Safe Haven" law that allows anyone to drop off kids up to 19 years old. Most other states are 1 week-1 month. Our wonderful lawmakers made it say "child" instead of narrowing it down.
