Hand Rendering

I am taking Hand Rendering this semester and I have to shell out mad dough(s) for some markers. I am an Interior designer and for the last couple of semesters I have been messing around with Prismacolors but they are soo damn expensive. I have searched the internet saw another brand called Letraset and they are more expensive. Anyone know of a gewd solid marker that I won't have to sell a kidney/first born to buy? Or are they all pretty much the same? Any help wooood rawk, S'ank you

Prismacolors are pretty good, and are pretty much as cheap as you can go, really...
Well, you could prolly just hit up an art supply store, and see what else they have for lower-grade stuff, but the shittier the marker the harder they're going to be to work with. Copics and Trias are both good brands too, but you'll prolly shell out more money for either of them than Prismas.

Also, I dunno if you're already doing so or not, but your markers will last longer depending on what kind of paper you're using. Paper made specifically for markers is probably best, as it's less absorbent and easier to blend on.

I second that about the prismacolors about as cheap as I have seen for pens that are decent enough quality to be worthwhile. I use prismacolors and really like them.
