Ranger under level sync

I was wondering how level sync effects arrows/marksmanship ammo and weapons.

eg; I'm a level 62 ranger and I'm invited to a party that's level syncing down to 48. I'd normally be using Demon arrows (lvl 60) in a party atm. Should I use the Demon arrows under the sync or buy Scorpion Arrows (lvl 40) as the nerf on Demons will be harsher then just using Scorpions?

Applied to any situation, can I use my current ammo under a lvl sync or is it better to buy ammo that wont be affected by the sync?

Similar question with Bows too + does Selene's Bows benefits get removed under the sync?

I have a good feeling that the demon arrows will get raped by the level sync so I'd recommend the scorps.

As for the bow, you might keep one str because it appears on another bow before it. No clue how the Racc/Ratt would work. If you're still worried about your damage just fall back to Battle Bow(+1)

In my experience syncing my RNG, I'd say go with the arrows that are under the sync cap (in your case scorpion), because you still get any r.acc/r.attack bonus on the arrows that way, while you dont get the bonus if sync scales the gear down. Also the base damage on synced arrows seems to SUCK.

almost assuredly selenes would be more useless than it already is under level sync. aspiring rangers should keep their lower level bows to a certain point or use the low levels to skill up marksmanship. Personally if I were leveling ranger Id keep a crossbow and holy bolts for the lower level and a full bow for the high levels. Holys are so low anyway you wouldnt lose any benefit of them. Otherwise scorps are ftw for sync since they are so cheap.

yeah the arrows will get raped horribly, and wont surprise me if the scorp outdo the demon by a fair margin, i just finished sam75, but along the way did tons of lvl sync bird parties as sam/rng and could tottaly notice the diff from using up to my lvl arrows, vs the scorps, hope this helps~

Would elemental arrows worked out decent? I remember using it back when I had spare ice arrowheads from alchemy.

Thanks for the answers. Annoying that I have to stock yet more ammo and weapons as Ranger, but oh well. Might ending up saving money if I can spam scorps and holy bolts

@ Zilong; Ele arrows will hold up fine but I tend to go for the racc+ of the others, I need all the acc I can get normally

Yes, your damage will be raped hardcore without a proper bow and arrow of the correct level range, you're wasting gil using higher level arrows.

My DMG was dropping by a good 40 per arrow at it's worst, so yeah just get some midrange things. Anytime I sync below 60 I bring out my scorp arrow quiver.

Look on the bright side, you're going to save a whole lot of money from using lower level arrows (from eyeballing it, the loss is massive), but if that's an issue, rng isn't the way to go anyway!

i helped friend with promy vazhl climb on rng. lent him my warbow+1 and i used my e-bow, and dmg was a lot less with ebow. so ya, those stats all get removed.
