    Having trouble with noscript

Although I can perma allow sites like youtube and my regular sites, things that are embedded on those sites are scripts of those sites are still blocked individually and I only get the option to temporary allow. Then when the browser closes I have to re-temp allow for pretty much everything and its just getting annoying to me

There's an example of the blocked objects and it only allowing me to temp allow it, instead of perma.

There isn't a way to where I can set perma exceptions? Kinda annoying to have to do that every time with each site I go to. For example, on tinypic.com it won't even get to the part where u have to allow the exception until you pick something to upload and hit the ok button. Then when it starts it gets blocked and u have to allow it, then u have to refresh the page, pick what u want again and reupload it. Its just very tedious.

Make sure the "Apply these restrictions to trusted sites too" option is unchecked.

Is there any way to pick and choose what sites these options are applied to? For example I have ffxi-ah as a trusted site for the things like PlayOnline news, but the banners and whatnot are still blocked unless I personally went to do allow them. I don't want things that aren't supposed to be on the site to be allowed, but lets say youtube for example. The video is supposed to be there and I don't wnat to have to allow it each time.

The trusted sites are the ones that appear in the whitelist (Clicking the "Allow xyz.com" option in the noscript menu in the lower right corner of the window automatically adds the site to the whitelist.) If the "Apply these restrictions to trusted websites" box is checked, then flash videos, java applets, etc. will be blocked even if the site is in your whitelist of trusted sites. Uncheck it, and those things will still be blocked on untrusted sites, but allowed by default on trusted sites. This should allow for full functionality on sites like ffxi-ah, playonline, youtube, etc. while still preventing scripts from other sites from running (for example, an advertisement on ffxi-ah trying to run a script will be blocked, since it's not actually being run from ffxi-ah, but from an outside source.)

Just be aware that with that setting unchecked, you would almost certainly have been infected by last year's spate of trojans from somepage, ffxiah, ffxi-atlas
