What do you do in work when you're not doing anything?

As the title suggests. I work as an IT tech in a medium sized company, about 80 users, but if I'm doing my job right I generally have 4-5 hours or so of free time in the office. This, is where boredom was created.

So in this situation, what would you do in the free time? Legit and off-the-wall crazy ideas are more than welcome. So far in my free time I think I've browsed the whole internet, especially all of BG. I've napped for hours. Anyone with anything to take up time for those of us who get paid to do nothing, share your schemes!

I usually surf the web and make it an obligation to know about stuff from the financial bailout to the latest electronic gadgets and everything remotely interesting in between. I report directly to the CFO and the controller so most the time I work alone on financial projects, and it pretty much prevents me from talking to all the staff accountants in another side of the floor.

I work in a pharmacy, there's always stuff to do. It sucks balls. Most of the time when we are slower and don't have orders coming in we get to dust the shelves and/or check for out of date medicine. It's awesome.

being the IT guy, nothing is blocked for me, however using www.logmein.com to access my FFXI remotely i generally get about 2-3FPS at most, which obviously makes FFXI unplayable from work.

And i just tried reading scienceblogs, alas, i am but a humble IT guy, and my eyes glazed over after about 2minutes.

I just shoot the shit with my co-workers or supervisor. On Sunday and Mondays we're really busy, but any other day we usually finish an hour early and chill for a while.

I work at an AV/Appliance retail store. Everyday is dead lately. Browse the whole internet, Youtube, watch ESPN... and on late nights i've whipped out the rock band set and played with coworkers since there's a PS3 hooked up to a 65" sharp lcd on our display lulz.

I don't bother with the net at my current job, at my previous job though I would surf:

BG, Newegg, Slick deals, Superhero hype, Rotten tomatoes, CNN, Ebay

The net filter was pretty strict though, so I couldn't surf much else.

Depending on who is working, if I get some free time I might be texting someone, or more than likely bs'ing with friends who work with me.
