Yea I have seen one about an english guy who learned to converse in Icelandic language in a week and recalled 22500 decimal of pi. In the same documentary, they also showcased another guy who could memorize the landscape of an entire city and then hand-draw it on paper.

The Sorrow and the Pity is amazing.
    Hearts and Minds is sobering.
King of Kong (even if some of it was embellished).

    -Hookers at the point.

No but seriously, for me it is anything Physics, Cosmos or Prehistory related. I watch Nova religiously if that counts as well as Physics lectures on the Community College channel here :3

Yeah i've been reading up all on them.
You are talking about Daniel Tammet, he didn't recall it to 1000, he recalled it to 22,500 from memory in span of 5hours.

This is the 2nd guy you are talking about

Yea it does. Any documentaries. Gizzly Man is a good one, it reminds me of "into the wild".

Almost no one has seen Penn and Teller's Bullshit TV series that's pretty much documentaries disproving things. Here's one of my favorites on why Recycling not only hurts the economy but the environment.

I've seen a ton of documentaries but I can only remember like 2 of them (non scientific ones that is)

Super high me: comedian smokes a ton for 30 days, shows some of his stand up he does while taking the 'challenge' and he is pretty damn funny.

Who killed the electric car: what I remember its about how the big car companies interfered with these becoming main stream and whatnot

The Man Who Skied Down Everest

"The first barrier in the ascent of Everest is a huge ice fall. It looks like the tongue of some gigantic demon. More lives have been lost here than on Everest itself. It rises 1600 feet--a world of dangerous, fragile beauty; a cascade of massive blocks of ice moving imperceptibly from the glacier above, pushed by the weight of centuries of the snows of Everest. Without warning it can shift and break into an avalanche of millions of tons of ice. On the other side of this barrier lies the most challenging ski run in the world."

    -From the dudes dairy

Only watch this on a BIG TV/projector/etc, or else its a waste...trust me its well worth it!
