Treasure Casket - Initial Findings

Everyone please post your Treasure Casket Findings. Please only post locked Caskets as we all know what you can get from unlocked.

What we know so far
-Caskets are random on when or what mob they pop from
-Blue Casket is unlocked, Brown with gold trim is locked and requires number combination
-Gathering Multiple mobs at once and using a -ga spell to kill can produce multiple locked caskets
-Caskets depop/disappear after 2min of opening them
-Locks seem to be easier to open with the more hints to take
-Hints use 1 guess, so is there are 5 chances total, take 4 hints and guess on the final
-Temp Item Caskets give you all standard temp item along with some others (Standard Meds in Temp state)(unconfirmed Revitalizer, Confirmed Daedalus Wing, Elixers and Vile Elixers)
-From the extensive testing in Xarcabard, it seems that 1 new rare/ex item will drop from each zone, mob that drops it does not seem to matter.

Items dropped in zones seems to be related to Fields of Valor in relation to levels (or just mob level in general). Examples:


Desperado Ring (Lvl:9) Came from La Thine Plateau
Phlegethon's Trousers (Lvl:15) Came from Valkrum Dunes: FoV Level 12-23
Custodes (Lvl:25) Came from Qufim Island: FoV Level 26-34
Herder's Subligar (Lvl:25) Came from Meriphataud Mountains: Fov Level 20-28
Mokusa (Lvl:30) Came from Batallia Downs
Gothic Gauntlets (Lvl:43) Came from Xarcabard: Fov Level 42-52

I got 2 chests farming the doll in batallia for mission, failed to get the correct combination on both, wasn't aware examining the lock takes one of your attempts on the first and was 1 digit off on opening the second D: Both dropped off orcs obviously because that is what I was farming

I found it easiest to unlock them by using all but the last guess on "examining the lock" then trying a combo.

Also I use the same metheod as Siya. Get 4 hints then on the last attempt it's 50/50, since you've pretty much got it in the bag if you remember the hints.

Just tried this as well now and got it, 5 tries it gave me, 4 hints and the last one i opened it.
