So this, game is supposed to be the original Xbox version, fully remade, revamped with new graphics, items, and content. Plus an extra 20 hours of new story added onto it. I don't know what that I believe they are able to redo all that and add 20 hours of new gaming as well but I will cross my fingers.

Anybody play the original? Anybody getting the new one?

If they do a PC port in some point in time I'd gladly pay for it.

I felt like I stole the first-game buying it for the asking price they had for the PC release of the original ($29.99) and how *good* it was compared to the full-priced crap that was out at the time.

Definite buy with how awesome the first game was. Actually looking forward to playing the Xbox version (the old content that is) again just because of how awesome it was, which is rare for me.

Yeah, I played through it yesterday. At first I tried to play it like a regular FPS,and I got annihilated, then I thought about playing it like the Darkness. I never played Escape from Butcher Bay, but I'm assuming it works the same way.

Once I started shooting out lights, and waiting for guards to come looking for me, it was a TON more fun. Even though you're being hunted, you feel more like the hunter, which is absolute win.

Seems like it came out a bit ahead of it's projected release date; just got it a little bit ago!

Only played the start of Butcher Bay, but it's definitely pretty fun so far.

I dled the demo a few days ago, and I was kinda drawn back by how shitty the game looked for a next gen game, but ims till going to give it a go and pick it up tomorrow.

pretty sure it's being released on PS3 Xbox360 and Windows all at the same time, so yea, win :D
