Anyone else got this trouble?

Just got back home, opened up POL, signing in, then it kicks me out and gives me this

Before I left today, I had linked my SEA to my POL ID and now when I came back, it won't allow me to log in, is there something I'm doing incorrectly? I just want to get into this update lol -.-

Its auto set for the onetime password, just go to settings and turn it to Do not use, and put in youre SE password, not POL

It gives you this error if you didn't link your SE account to your POL ID. You should check that it's linked properly.

I had the same problem, i just switched it back to POL and it worked fine. But when i switch it back to SEA it doesnt let me log in for some reason. Ive typed in all the information correctly, and even logged into the web page to make sure the PW i was entering was correct. I figured it wouldnt work until i got the Security token, but if im wrong I would love to hear an answer as well.

My apologies, didn't realize they added new features to that section lol. I usually never log out of FFXI. Always leave my char on bazaaring or something;z

Need to type in your member password in pol viewer then go to edit member information and add in your square enix password and stuff, I had the same problem when I linked mine.

i had same problem, i had to call in to be able to log in, had to reset something for me

... You can't link a token to your account until you read the serial number off the back and put it into your SE account.

I wish people would stop being cynical fearmongering douchebags. Your post doesn't help this guy at all and is COMPLETELY invalid.

Go to your settings page and make sure it says "Do not use" where the one-time password setting is. If you set it to use, then it's not going to let you login. Also, make sure you're putting in your SE password and not your POL password.

I cancelled my SE ID in the hopes that I could create another one with a better username. I had already linked my POL ID to it before I canceled. After I canceled and I tried logging in, it would say my SE ID and shit was wrong. So, I had to call Info Center to revive my acct, lol.
