Exactly. I also like to feel like I'm a little more in control of my character. Only as a backline mage does FFXI feel like a real MMO or Online RPG.

Nope, you can customize your character quite a bit... you could be a RNG/MNK if you wanted to, but why would you want to?

No reason, but that doesn't mean the ability isn't there!

I meant more looks, not statwise. But the MAG system provides way more customization than FFXI does stat-wise, even with main and sub job combinations. Definitely wouldn't say PSO was as good as FFXI, but it's still fun, shit is a completely different genre.
