Thanks. LS member found it. I had to get there. I lost it while posting screenshot. Trying to hunt it down again. Damn things fly fast and it has a HUGE roaming area. I followed it 2 grid squares just to get CRAG in the picture.

i thought we knew this was sort of possible..

when WotG was released was it not mentioned in the datamines that pixies could be found in many of the core FFXI zones? and in a developer interview there was some talk about how 'your actions in the past' would result in changes to mobs appearing in the future..? I dunno bout others, but i put 2 and 2 together at this point, even though I couldn't definitively say how its done.

There have been previous accounts of these pixies showing up in the present in Valkurm Dunes as well.

the only thing that we don't know is how this pixies in the present thing comes about.. and its probably something we may never truly figure out since its dependant on the actions of a large majority of the server. I'd assume part of it has to do with trading bottled pixies to Feyspring and part of it perhaps to do with killing or not killing pixies in the past...

I saw someone in my dynamis LS talking about one being in Valkurm Dunes one time while gathering for Dynamis Valkurm.


... 2 minutes later there's a Stygian Ash in the Alliance teasure pool. lol
