    Need help locating driver

I've tried google and no luck. I'm trying to find the driver for Alfa Network 802.11g wireless lan usb wireless card, model number AWUS036s. I have the installer disk back home in Florida (I'm in California till August) and I just reformatted another PC here. I need to get my wireless card working on it so I can download it's drivers and such to install on it and get it rdy to go. I tried just plugging it in, but of course that didn't work lol.

    Thanks in advanced.

All of 5 seconds on Google

    Downloads > Search by Product > AWUS036E

Problem is, the driver download they list is a corrupted RAR file. You could try peeking around 3rd party driver sites, but if the company that made it has a bad download, don't know how much luck you'll have...

Link to Driver file that doesn't work.

None of the driver downloads seem to work on there website....I'm sure they're aware of it and don't give a shit.

After some digging around I found this: lan.valleylinks.net/AWUS036-Z.zip

which I've hosted on my website for easy downloading, but I'll have to delete it after.

It's the only thing I could find that's remotely close to what you require, hopefully it works, if not you might be out of luck.

This card of yours uses a Ralink RT2500 USB chipset which is a direct link from their driver page.

It's like getting drivers from nVidia who only makes the chipsets instead of the circuitboard manufacturer like Asus, Gigabyte, MSI, etc who just repackage them. You won't get any bells and whistles but the hardware will work just fine.
