Did anyone watch it? That was crazy. I didn't know what to think at first, but I thought it was great. Another show bites the dust. I was talking about the US version btw.

I watched the europe version and like their ending better but I think it ended well.

I saw right up to the last TEN FUCKING MINUTES. Cable box said t('-'t) and froze up. And ABC's video player is a piece of shit that doesn't work.

Could someone say in spoiler what happens in the ending? I watched the show off & on but just couldn't get into it. Characters were too cartoonish to me.

anyone heard of/watch Ashes to Ashes? its a spinoff/sequel to the UK version.

Ashes to Ashes is pretty good. It's set (well, in the past) some ten years after, so in the start of the Thatcher-Reagan years. I never saw the US version, but in the UK Gene Hunt is fucking awesome, so it's good to see him on screen again. Basically the premise is that some police woman from London gets shot and the bullet sends her back to 1980-something. The main police guys from Life on Mars ended up transferring from Manchester to London, so they're doing pretty much the same thing. She's a police psychologist or whatever so she begins as slightly more aware of the world she's ended up in, calling Hunt a hallucination to his face and challenging her reality, but by the middle of the second series (that's where we are now) she's almost starting to forget her 2008 life.

Hope I didn't give too much away. Gene Hunt's still awesome.

I've seen the first ep, wasn't sure if it'd pick up, w/o John Simm who I frickin love. He was a great Master in Dr Who a while back too. Gene Genie is the shit. I also downlaoded the Best of Bowie thanks to these shows, lol.
