UFC for beginners

So I've been watching the UFC thingy, USA vs UK in that reality series thing, and it's pretty cool.

What I want to know though, who are the top pros I should be looking out for?

I mean, I want to go watch old fights and stuff, and I really cba to just watch lots of Kimbo fights

For starters, nobody likes Kimbo

Good fights would be huerta vs guida, alvarez vs kawajiri, alvarez vs hansen, liddell vs wanderlei, Forrest vs bonnar. Those would be more for entertainment and not so much them being top guys.

Watch Fedors fights in pride and affliction to see the best heavyweight. Old pride fights with shogun, wanderlei, rampage, Gomi, Cro cop, nogueira vs sapp is pretty amazing to see.

Gsp, Penn, anderson silva have been champs for a while so check their fights out (ignore anderson vs cote and vs leites) Chuck liddells old fights were good, thiago alves' last few were dominations.

I'm forgetting a bunch so if you aren't trolling and if you liked these fights I may remember more.

for flashy action types, anderson silva has a great hi lite reel on youtube, chuck liddel, frank shamrock is always fun to watch, rashad evans,

griffin v bonnar had good fights, faber v pulver, rampage v silva fought 3 times, all were good.

fedor emelianenko is a beast. as is bas rutten

Heavyweight UFC : Close between a few fighters but Lesnar is the most Dominant brawler
Light Heavyweight: Lyoto Machida is the best fighter the division has seen since Liddell in his prime.
Middleweight: Im partial to Ricardo Almeida myself but Anderson Silva is the most dominant in that division.
Welterweight: Rush (George St Pierre) No question.
Lightweight: Skill really shines here in lightweight; Sean Sherk, Frank Edgar, Nate Diaz, the list for this division is miles long and any fighter here can win or lose against anyone else.

I'll be honest, I hate grappling, but I love people getting punched in the face. If limbs could be torn off or heads broken open, I'd probably watch more UFC.

Dustin Hazelett is a really fun grappler to watch. Hazelett vs burkman for a crazy armbar and hazelett vs mccrory for another nice submission.

Bisping is ok but some of his hype is just from being the top british guy in the ufc. Henderson can definitely take a punch.
