Aht Urhgan one by Rue is really good, sorta reminds me of the Final Fantasy Tatctics artwork.

And...OOOOOO Seven Scythe one by Eme...good stuff, she reminds me of Charlotte Christine de Colde of Samurai Shadown.

Some amazing pieces there. I love 7 and 37 (is that one by "Riios" here on BG?) for atmosphere, and there's something really nice about the extremely stylized look of 102. It's so bright and colour rich and despite looking really simple and like it was slapped together whoever did it has some serious eye and talent for composition and shapes. And it stood out from all the other clusterfuck pictures where artists were just trying to shove as many characters into one page as possible, usually in process of throwing a dinner party. Having said that, rendition of the moogle in 288 made me lol.

A lot of nice work again. I had thought about entering back when I played, but I never had much self confidence in entering any of those contests.

I really like 31 (by Nkree). 40 (by Tororoto) is rather pretty. 54, just.. lol "Carby is my bff."

People were really creative this year. Saw a couple sculpture pieces, a knitting, a painted egg with a chocobo coming out. There's a bunch that were really good and a few that made me laugh, in a good way. (Forget which one it was now, but in a thought bubble they were running away from a chariot naked.)

Some of the strangely-drawn ones are very fun, even if theyre not perfect... I like them. I also like how with many of the entries, you can see that people have crammed a lot of their own memories / experiences / feelings into each piece, even if the specifics don't always translate to me, as a stranger, viewing them.
