Synopsis:

Two human custodians working on board a battle station for the evil Empire. As they try to hold on to their jobs in the midst of an intergalactic civil war, the series offers a satirical and irreverent view of androids, clones, Dark Lords, and other science-fiction staples.

For Darby his job as a janitor is a stepping stone, that is if the higher ups would just notice him. He feels his rebellion-crushing talents are not being put to use. If only he had his own space station, then he’d show Dark Lord how to end the rebellion in one swift stroke.

He’s a thirty-something lifer in the business of space station maintenance. Mike knows it’s best to keep his head down and earn your eighty credits a day. Who wants to be an officer anyways with all that force-choking going on? If he keeps up the good work for a few more years he’ll finally be able to put a down payment on a nice little moisture farm back home.

She’s a computer psychologist – a programmer for self-aware systems – she’s definitely more comfortable talking with machines than she is humans. Like most of the space station inhabitants she hates rebels and always does what is best for the collective.

She’s a self-aware android who works in engineering, and Darby’s on-again off-again (literally) girlfriend. Life as an android is a complicated one. Her human-like appearance belies a powerful curiosity in what it means to be human. She can be cold and calculating, but that’s pretty much par for the course when it comes to androids.

He’s a squall trooper who takes a liking to the gang. He hopes to be the best trooper in the empire, but it’s tough to stand out from the crowd when your DNA is identical to the other 9,999 other troopers on the same station.

This looks amusing, will definitely watch. I can see the similarities to Red Dwarf, which was a great show.
