iMac - Vista and FFXI Graphic problems

I have been playing FFXI on my iMac for quite some time running Windows XP through Bootcamp. I however recently had some issues with my XP and something on it became corrupt and i would blue screen even after a clean re-install of OS.

I took the leap and switched from XP to Vista and i am no longer having any problems, FFXI runs smoothly with all settings turned high, although the one thing i have noticed is that the graphics quality in full screen is blury and not as clear as it was when i was running it on my XP.

My screen resolution is set to 1680x1050 and using windower the game resolution is at 1400x900 anything higher from this to full screen becomes very blury where as on XP it was fine.

Im using a 2.4GHz Intel iMac running Vista through Bootcamp, has anyone experienced this before or have any suggestions?

have you tried changing the BG res through the registry?

I play on iMac/Bootcamp/Vista too. The graphic doesn't look good when resize, so mostly I just keep the window size the same as the set up in launcher file and have the number in RegEdit match it too.
