3D hardware acceleration for GeForce 8800 GT

So I went to play NWN2 and it won't load, giving me an error stating it doesn't detect a video card with 3D hardware acceleration. I can't find anything in the settings on my computer about it, googled and the only thing I could find is something stating nVidia cards don't come with it, but it was a 2007 article. The nVidia site only has drivers for WinXP and Vista 32-bit and I'm running 64-bit Win7. That's my only clue on what might be the issue here. Is there any driver or other software out there to enable this for me?

You must be looking wrong because there are 64-bit Win 7 drivers. I'm using them myself.

It seems so. Just followed a link while googling the issue and it showed a list of drivers at the site. Odd. Downloading driver from nvidia now, hopefully this fixes it.

Installed the driver, still getting a "no 3D hardware acceleration" error each time I launch the game.

I've had this issue before with other games. fixed by usually forcing Windows to run the game in question in 32 bit mode. tried that?
