Problems with Mozilla (Or maybe just internet in general?)

Been having some strange problems, only recently with my internet. it seems the MEM Usage (Viewed in Task Manager) Will Steadily go up, and up, and up.

I can open it using maybe, 20,00-~30,000k... And over time, even though i'll only have one tab open, it just keeps getting higher and higher, shit loads slower, begins to freeze up, highest i caught it at was 600,000-K. its a Steady increase over time, as if its not refreshing something or resetting some data.

As far as i can tell this is a recent problem, i clear Cookies every couple hours, reset history, clear Temporary Internet Files, etc, etc all the basic stuff, and it doesn't seem to help.

Any thoughts ?

If i leave firefox open for an extended period of time I have this same problem. I'm talking days though. I have to close out completely every 3 or 4 days otherwise firefox can get up to 300000. Right now it's at 160,000

this is why i dont use firefox anymore and switch over to chrome.

fucking firefox is famous for its memory leak.

now if only chrome has a noscript addon that would be perfect...

I've disabled a few things and read over the link Baelorn posted, i'll see how much that does for it.
