IIHazeII - A Phoenix HNM Linkshell

Brief History of Our Linkshell

Around January 15th or so, a small group of us ethusiastically transferred from Sylph server to Phoenix server to join MercuryX Linkshell. We were very excited to be joining one of the most successful linkshells in the game but, unluckily for us, the entire MercuryX linkshell was banned shortly thereafter for the Salvage Dupings. We found ourself in a server we hardly knew with no linkshell. Since MercuryX Linkshell ran the server, when they got banned, the server was basically up for grabs.

A few days after the bannings, a group of friends sat down and decided it was time to start our own linkshell and we decided to name it IIHazeII. Soon enough we realized all the hard work that was ahead of us. Making a linkshell is everyone's dream, they believe they can make a linkshell and be the best but it's not that easy. There have to be many factors working correctly for a linkshell to be successful.

The first week was rough. We didn't have many members and most of the freshly recruits had little HNM experience. Our second day in Dragon's Aery we claimed and killed our first Nidhogg with only 8 people and the members started raining. Our first week in the Aery yielded great results, we claimed 4/7 Fafnirs + Nidhogg with only about 12 people. Not only was our hard work paying off in the Aery, it was also paying off with Khimaira, Cerb, and Limbus/Dynamis. Within 2 weeks we had killed about multiple Fafnirs, KBs, Khimairas, Omegas, Cerbs, etc.

We are looking for members who are willing to do their best and put a lot of time into trying to be the best. As you can see we are a very successful ls and in the short time we've been around we've killed all forms of HNM including Ground, ToAU and WoTG etc.



Some of the changes made in the linkshell:

Recently we've decided to chance some of the things in the linkshell to try to achieve a better gaming experience for all of our members and a somewhat better item distribution system:

Bank:

The bank is public to everyone in the linkshell and is updated daily according to what is sold and how much currency is bought. It is the linkshell's right to know how much and what is in the bank at any given time. We believe that showing everyone where the money is going is a good thing because, after all, it is the member's who make the bank.

Point System:

A state of the art point system that is updated daily. When you attend an event, your points get added and when you obtain an item you've wished, whatever amount of points the item is worth get deducted.

How you Spend your Points:

Our old point system basically counted how much you attended but the points were never deducted as you got items you wished. In this new system, when you obatin an item, that many points get deducted. This keeps people from obtaining more than they deserve and abusing the point system.

What you would like to get out of the linkshell:

Our first goal as a linkshell was to obtain as many relics as possible. This is still our main goal but we've changed our way of thinking. In IIHazeII you chose what you want out of the linkshell. The points you obtain can be spent however you'd like to spend them. This way everyone can get what they want of the linkshell because we are all different. An example is, you can save your points up to get a relic or you could save them up to get Abody, RDM Hat, and Nashira Legs.

Our Schedule:

HNM: HNMs take precedence over everything else. Chances are we won't skip a scheduled event for an HNM but when there are 4 hours left on Khimaira or such, we will most likely camp the HNM.

Salvage: Because of our arbitrary schedule due to HNMs pop times, we do Salvage whenever we have a 2 hr gap in between things and there is no set time.

Monday - Einherjar 8:00 PM Eastern

Tuesday - Dynamis 7:30 PM Eastern

Wednesday - Limbus 7:30 PM Eastern

Thursday - Misc. Event (Ouryu, KS99, ZNM, etc.)

Friday - Einherjar 8:00 PM Eastern; Dynamis 9:00 PM Eastern

Saturday - Limbus 8:00 PM Eastern + Misc. Event (Ouryu, KS99, Kirins, Sea)

Sunday - Sea/Sky/Ouryu/KS99

Haze is known for it's excessive drama exchanges with it's contemporary, Volume. To be perfectly clear on this, they're both nuisances to Phoenix, and they both have shit to say about everyone. Which is okay with me, I get laughs from both linkshells.

However, I can't really say it's worth transferring to Phoenix to join. Nothing too special about either linkshell. You could more than likely do better than Haze. There's a threshold you're gonna have to cross to join Haze(Or Volume), but you gotta think about what you're giving up by joining. Either way, the server will hate you for being apart of the most annoying sacks of shit ever.

If you're looking for an endgame/hnm linkshell research up on them before listening to nay sayers and people with nothing better to do than to troll.
