idk if this is the right spot so move it if necessary, but anyone know bloodbead ring nm pop conditions after maint? i thought it was 24h after maint, but now my friend said 21-24... any1 know for sure?

wiki is wrong it is 24 hours exactly after maint. and then 72 hours exactly after death. Servers come up before you can play just its hard to tell when exactly they came up(its sometimes 20-40 minutes before you can play). Just ask your servers HNM shells when Kings spawned after maint. if they werent already up. Shells usually note the time they spawned and you can determine when approx. the servers came up.

This is correct. It just seems like 21-24 since login is not when servers start up.

I camped this about a dozen times before getting my ring a year or two ago, including 3~4 post-maintenance camps, and from my observations as well, the exact 24 hour thing is right. It's just difficult to know when the 24h mark is because its based on when NMs spawn before login comes up (so it works out to be in the range of 21~24h after post-maint login).

However, there's still ways you can figure out when the servers "really" came up, using the pop times of other NMs after maint, and that will give you the exact pop time.

(Edit: Well not truly "exact" because zones don't come up at exactly the same time, but +/- a few minutes on either side.)

Quoting for emphasis. If it's one of those short emergency 2h maints, go around 23h after server came up. If it's one of those long 4-8 hour ones, maybe 21-22 hour before if you want to be sure.

It's 24 after maint (like other people said, servers coming up, not when you can log in), but if you miss that spawn (or get ToD) it's 72 hours on the nose every death after. I went 1/3 for myself and helped a few other people camp it, always 72 hours on the nose.

Back when we camped this thing religiously, I was under the impression it was 21-24 after maintainence on a 30 min interval then exactly 72 hours after that. It's been 4 years since then but I'm pretty sure that's the conclusion we came to based on the times other things popped and etc etc etc.

Edit: @Suiram: I think we also found that zones go "online" in alphabetical order.
