I guess I only had a trial version because entering the product key that's on the sticker of my computer never worked for office so since then I would just cancel out of the product key enter screen that pops up and then use office normally. Now when I cancel out of the key entering screen I can't use office at all so I guess my trial is over. I can't find any working keys on the tubes so I need your help to either get a working key or dl'ing office in the not legal manner.

I do have openoffice but I'd rather use microoffice for compatibility.

The program came pre installed on the computer so I don't have an office cd case with the sticker on it just the sticker that comes on the tower (I think it's the vista key but I'm not certain, the sticker doesn't really state what it's for) I entered it several times but no luck so I think office may have just been a trial thing because I'm pretty sure I didn't pay for it (unless it was like 20 dollars or something cheap and forgettable) when I got the computer.

Yes, it's the trial copy, the sticker is for Vista, it even says at the top of the sticker. You have to buy Office. Or, find a friend with unused keys for Home and Student.

Is it not possible to find keys online? There are so many different kinds of office so all the keys I tried never worked but I could have been using the wrong kind of keys.

Dunno, never tried it, but it that's not a key that looks like it would majorly screw anything up if you did try. If nothing else just export the key before you edit it.

Neither of those work, I am just copy pasting them, is it possible the program wont accept copy paste because if the key was legit you would have to type it in manually so it assumes I'm using internet ones?

By export you mean make a copy of it so if it screws up I can just move that good copy back in to fix it?
