    shit is long as hell and really fucking good. it ought to keep your interest. the story is really broad so you get a lot of variety, and the author isn't afraid to kill characters.

    this would actually be very ideal

    I'd love a long series, but not One Piece/Hajime No Ippo long.


    I really like a good story, but not depressing like Saikano. Berserk is amazing, Claymore too; Gantz was awesome for different reasons.

    Death note was pretty cool at first but in all honesty it got drawn out.



    tl;dr I like when things aren't immediately clear why things are the way they are and you slowly find out more and more. Good character development is nice but not essential.

    the only complete series I can think of offhand (that I haven't read) is FMA and.. I honestly can't bring myself to finish that yet
