Working on a project and ran into a problem. Not quite sure how to solve it. Code so far looks like this.

Teacher asks a question towards a specific student.
Student thinks to himself "Which is this answer out of these" and 4 answers, sort of like multiple choice. Numbered answers.
After 30 seconds or so, ask user for a number that the student will then "say".

Like this more or less:
Teacher: "What color is the sky?"
Student: "Hmm, is it...1. Red 2. Blue 3. Green 4. Yellow"
-Enter a number answer here- You type in 2.
Student says "Blue."

Student gives the response in relation to what number you type in. Probably rambling at this point since it's 5 A.M. Thanks in advance.
