Have a question about fraps for anyone who has a legal/purchased version of it. How many machines is the license good for? If I were to purchase one could I load it onto my wife's computer, our laptop as well as my own computer? I used a cracked version in the past but I lost it when my old HD crashed and really a license isnt that pricy (lifetime use and all)

No idea if that means you can just kinda 'pretend' you're installing it on the same machine multiple times, as I don't know if Fraps contacts a server to verify the key or not.

Considering that you simply get a login account if you purchase it there should be no problems downloading it onto multiple computers.

I can try downloading it on another computer later on; completely agree with you on the buying matter, by the way.

All paying does it get access to the .exe on the website lol. The .exe has zero protection on it as far as I am aware. There is no license key for it. They basically run on an honor system which I respect them for. Can't stand crap that activates online and/or has activation limits (like my legit stylexp that stopped working cause TGTSoft disappeared, and it couldn't reach activation servers...). For that reason I paid for my copy.

So yes buy it once, and you could give it to the whole world if you wanted, and it would always work. XD
