    XFX Juniper Radeon 5770.

I saw the other 5770 thread, but i was afraid if I posted there it would get ignored. I got this card and was happy with it, played all the previous games I played just as good as my old card, but they weren't really a "benchmark" kind of game. I got Crysis about a week ago, the reviews with this card say they play max settings, etc. I am on the worst settings possible, and my card lags and looks like shit, is there a driver I need? I believe I am up to date, or is my card just stupid.

That sounds a bit fishy, 5770 shouldn't have enough power for maxed Crysis. So I went and looked it up and, sure enough:

And it only gets worse on higher resolutions. I'd say turn AA off, lower shader settings by a bit and play on lower resolutions. If it's still unplayable, you might be bottlenecked somewhere else (like, say, your processor). And of course, as you mention, having latest drivers for everything is always important.

I couldn't find any, since Aion is not usually one of the games used for GPU benchmarks, but there is this: http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/27...phic-card-aion

Gonna try the AA and lower my resolution from 1920X1080. I have an i7, so my processor isn't the issue.

i have a 5770 and can play crysis with all settings max except AA is off, postprocessing effects is on high instead of very high, and sound quality is on high. runs pretty good, not sure of framerate because i dont run fraps and i dont know how to enable fps viewing
