FFXI quick question

I was wondering if anyone knows if a EU account can be played on a US xbox360. I am pretty sure on PC you need to have PoL for same region, so I was wondering if anyone could tell me if it works the same for 360. Thanks!

You can play any account with any version of pol/ffxi, and on any system.

Onliest thing you need to be aware about:
For an EU Account, you need to use an EU POL Client (just POL, not the whole game) if you want to change anything within your Members Data (Password, Payment information, register expansions, buy content ids). Same for US and JP accounts.

You can download them on their respective POL websites.

No you cant, i got an NA account on PC and i play in EU. I installed an EU copy of FFXI on 360 but it did not work. I needed the NA copy

Honestly mate im not, i rung up SE in uk too and they confirmed what iv said. I mean i tried using an EU copy on the PC too and that only worked AFTER i installed an NA POL Viewer. I cant d/l a US version of POL on 360 only wut comes with the CD.

If you play on Xbox you can only play the account that is linked to your gamertag, iv tried playing a mule (NA) and a friends account (EU) on my 360 and it always says "Blah blah gamertag blah blah linked blah blah" On my PC i can play anything from anywhere but to change any of the details for my mule (NA) i have to use the NA version or PoL w/e.
