I don't post to often, but I am a long time reader, so hopefully this doesn't come out as complete garbage.

This is my first time encountering any problem like this, I have had connection issues and all that junk, but this literally freezes my entire laptop. I logged out so I could finish the log in details for the Mog Bonanza, registering my account and such. Then took a nap and decided to log in back to this...

I honestly have no idea what changed. Any suggestions? I have looked around online, as well as through these forums but sadly have found nothing even resembling my problem.

Never seen this. Can try to run a file check through POL...aside from that, derno what to tell you.

After finishing a check... Turns out there is no problem with any PoL files... FFXI files are running now.

There were errors like this awhile back when smart.dll was injecting itself into your game to steal your info. It was not this exact error, but I'd definately recommend doing a full system scan with an antivirus and malware bytes.

Just finished running a virus scan, turned up nothing. I did a FFXI scan, and it said 312 files were corrupt, but before I hit 'Repair' I want to make sure it isn't picking up that .dat's are corrupt files XD

.dat changes are flagged as corrupt files on file scan, yes.

As I am sure you were terribly concerned, it seemed to have fixed itself... I wasn't necessarily worried about my account being hacked, there ain't shit on it... Will keep anyone posted on further problems just incase this happens to anyone else.
