Difficult Computer problem
I am usually pretty good at taking care of my computer. However, I seem to have some kind of major virus or something. After about 5 mins of my computer being on eveything stops responding to being clicked. If I click on anything, nothing happens. I get a hourglass for a second, but it doesn't sound like the computer is doing anything. This includes ctrl + alt + delete. It will just never come up. I am also having a lot of trouble with my internet connection. It will just stop sending my computer info randomly until I restart.
I will be happy to answer any questions about my computer. I have windows XP. I have run Ad-Aware, Malwarebytes, Super AntiSpyware, and ComboFix. I even rolled back my computer to Jan 1st. Is it just time to delete everything off of it and reinstall XP/upgrade to Windows 7?

Banned.
disable system restore and do the whole virus scan/ malware scan again. Or download the avira rescue system.
Or format

I forgot to mention that I can't restart the computer in safe mode. I get a blue screen if I try.

reformat.
edit: if you back up files DO NOT restore until you have A/V installed in your new OS, if you are backing up to a different internal drive disconnect it.

This sounds like the virus my sister go that has NO way to fix. Hers came from watching illegal movies online... if you have streamed them that way before, good chance it's the same thing.
If it ends up being the same, your best bet is to format it all and start over. But if you absolutely must save data, I found you can get to it with a knoppix linux live CD, but there's a chance you could end up copying corrupted exe's over and messing up your new install.
Her virus lived in exe's, not sure if yours is the same.

if you've run the usual coctail of tools and come up blank, i support the above suggestions. nuke it from orbit. it's the only way to be sure.
