Buy the damn shirt, rofl, nobody is stopping you. Just keep in mind (i know i'm being trolled) that most clubs won't allow that inside, and most serious establishments will heavily frown upon your presence.

I'm not here to tell you what to wear. Give me what you would normally wear out, and I'll give suggestions. Of course, I'm not wop, i'm not gonna have you run out and buy a $600 hair clip to go with your shoes. But I'll do what I can to help you feel appropriate to the occasion.

oh i thought it was all about getting fashion advice I don't really go out to big parties which aren't happy with me turning up in jeans and a tshirt so I'm not really sure what I'd wear. I mean I have a black cocktail dress and a couple of summer dresses but that's about it.

for a bar, wear something comfortable, but don't be afraid to show the goods. I don't mean whore it up. A v-cut shirt with nice jeans works just fine, nobody is looking for a grammy outfit. Do SOMETHING to your hair and you should be good to go. Wear decent shoes, don't wear your shit kickers that you pick up dog feces in while walking the pup. Heels work, but let's keep it under 2 inches, nothing obscene.

I'm not really good in heels anyway, so that's fine with me. I'm looking forward to spring where I can go out in shoes that aren't likely to be covered in salty slush (and thus ruined).

I've gotta find more goods-showing-off shirts. My decent shirt lineup is mostly stuff from threadless and collared shirts. :/
