what house rules did you guys used to play? we had the tax -> free parking one, nothing more sophisticated than that, but then I didn't really play much after I was about 15 or so.

i can not see myself playing monopoly for days
if i ever got involved in a game that took more than like 8 hours i would just flip the board over and make peace by buying the first round that night or something
