FFXI and LogMeIn

I've seen posts here and there saying folks have used LogMeIn on their home computers in order to log in to FFXI remotely. I'm not looking to do anything big obviously, but I'd like to be able to say check the AH every now and then.

Problem is though, anytime I try to boot up FFXI (Windower or not), POL crashes immediately.

My OS is Windows 7 Pro x64 and the computer has a direct connection to the router. If I need to provide any additional information, let me know.

I'm not sure if there is some setting I'm missing in order to get this to work. If I can't, no big deal as I have plenty more uses for LogMeIn, but I figure I might as well see if this can work for me while I'm at it.

3d games over remote connections = shitty regardless of the software used

id avoid it and just use ffxiah or whatever to do your ah checking

I'll by AH checking, I mean being able do put things up for action, checking gil balances, etc.

I know it'll be highly shitty, extremely slow, etc, but if I can get it to work, I will definitely have many uses for it.

Strange logmein worked fine for me. Only thing i can think of is, its trying to change the resolution when it connects, and that'll crash ffxi.
