Just out of curiosity, what did you name your computers?

My two desktop computers are Palladium and Osmium, my laptops are Rhenium and Ruthenium and my router is named Schroedinger. :3

I just name them after the computers brand/model. If custom made, after FFXI/WoW/Lineage/etc. capitals/towns.

Latin names for wolves. My Macbook is called Arctos (snow - really clever because it runs snow leopard, derp.) tower is called Rufus (red - it has a red mobo and graphics card! derp)

Generally A names. This laptop is Alexia, my ipod is Alexandria, my Kindle is Aria. My other laptop though is "Devtron 4000 Ra ra ra." Yeah, don't ask >.>;

I have a tendency to name my mobile devices after historical swords (Caliburn, Fragarach, Caladbolg, Dyrnwyn, etc. )

My network/router is named jormungandr(not after ffxi, but shadowrun reference to the virus that destroys the internet in 2065).

Kinda surprised to see how consistently we all give routers of all things norse mythology related names.

The only thing I really give nerdy names to are hard drives/partitions; everything else is usually some bland descriptive description. lol I like Pikarya's idea of towns, though.
