TL;DR mom tells her 27 year old son to stfu with his raid so she and her other kids can sleep, they argue, he throws her and his brother against a bed, she calls 911, he rips the phone from the wall, slams his head through the hole where it was, then proceeds to choke her on the ground. Then his granddad runs in and shoots him. He's now in county lockup.

I've done dynamis with drunks and their behavior isnt quite as obscene, alcohol played a part I'm sure but there is a certain degree of underlying psychosis, especially since hes 27 and lives with mom?

I'm not sure I understand the negative stigma stemming from living with your parents after a certain age. I'm 27, and I just moved from my parents' place last month. It's hard as shit to make ends meet, and my rent is low as hell. Maybe it's a difference in standards of living between regions, but I know a number of people my age that graduated HS with me who still live with their parents, a few are even college educated.

I'm sure the de facto response of "Get a better job" will come up, but my job is pretty good, all things considered. Benefits and retirement can't be beaten, it just doesn't pay that great. Government job, goes with the territory I suppose. And it's never as easy as "find a better job".

I think a distinction is made for people living with their parents to save money/after they finish college and figure out what they are going to do, and wowfags who clearly have no other prospects in life.
