Mysterious issue: random closing programs/apps/errors

Hi all.

Shot in the dark here. For the past several months, I have had a semi reoccurring issue in that a few select programs just close out or glitch. example

Enshrouded (game) on Steam (closes)
Black Desert Online (game) from stand alone launcher (closes)
Chrome (browser) the "aw snap!" page (require relaunch)

These are all sort of unconnected, maybe? I still run plenty of games without issue.

From my continued research, memory issues pop up. I ran a memtest86 and it passed with no errors. Another suggestion is overheating but I've monitored my pc temp and nothing out of the ordinary.

Anyway, just throwing this out there in case someone else has had a similar issue and has any leads on what might be the cause. I have proper driver updates on video card etc. I can give system specs if that seems helpful.

if you've done all of that and it's returned no issues, my next guess would be the drive(s). the drive and ram are the 2 culprits when things randomly start dying that aren't video related usually
