Guildportal site no longer loads on laptop

Yeah, I know Guildportal isn't really the best site, but it's what my LS has used for years and it'd be hard to move. After rebooting my computer today I was unable to load Guildportal in either Firefox or IE on my laptop (windows XP) but it does load on my husband's desktop, which is sitting on the same desk next to the laptop and is on the same network (windows XP in VM on a windows 7 machine). The only thing I can think of is maybe my antivirus is blocking the site, the VM on the desktop does not have antivirus installed.

Google searches for the problem are useless, they only try to point me to other people's guildportal sites >.>

Any chance something like peerblock is blocking it? Seen it happen before for whatever reason.
