    I've already done that.

    99% of the time my latency is like 70~.

    But randomly throughout the day everything will freeze up for ten seconds, and then happen all at once.

    And then there will be extended periods of time where my latency will be 1K+, it comes and goes seemingly randomly.

    Nobody else in this household uses a lot of bandwidth, they don't torrent or play online games.

    I thought it might be Comcast throttling my ports again, but I called them and they said they haven't done anything.

    This shit is fucked up in an environment where I lose 14-20 points for every loss and win 0-5 points for every win in arena. I can't push for Gladiator with retarded internet like this. We went 8 wins - 2 losses last week and we're up 2 rating.

    I switched over to Windows 7 recently and it stopped the disconnects I was having, but I still have the very common lag spikes. So if it's likely that I need to buy a new router or modem or some shit, I'm willing to do it. Just tell me what the fuck I need to do, WoW is my life this shit is making me freak out what the Hell is the issue!?

    It could have just been a coincidence, but I didn't have any lag issues for the first day I had Windows 7 installed, then it did some automatic updates and my shit started fucking up again. So I did a fresh install today and turned off automatic updates, and I'm doing a clean install of WoW instead of copying it over from my external. Everything is going to be fresh this time, so it can't be any kind of gay virus shit or whatever.
