    x-fi cards and windows 7

Kinda wondering if the non-Creative cards actually work in w7. I've had an "extrememusic" card since '06 and while it works perfectly in XP, some of the features (CMSS3d) malfunction in windows 7 no matter what drivers I use. By malfunction, I mean the sound fades in and out in a very annoying manner. Obviously the official drivers don't work, and neither do the daniel_k drivers (he's posted that only creative can fix the cmss problem and they don't care to). So... do the Auzentech cards have working drivers? Or is there any replacement for crystalizer+cmss3d? I've gotten used to the sound over the years and music just sounds... wrong without it.

I use an Auzentech X-Fi Forte, and as far as I can tell al the features work on it, other than EAX but thats because Win7 can't use it, although there is a program with the card that emulates it in some way (have no idea how well it works).

CMSS-3D works fine as far as I can tell but this is my first time using it (at least the sound doesn't fade or anything).
