Netbook and old games

OK my girlfriend wanna buy a netbook (the ones with 1.6ghz and 1gig of ram) because she complains about her current computer.

The only use she has for her computer is for school work Facebook and the sims 2.

Now i know that the PC can run Sims2 no problem. My question is if anyone played the sims on a netbook how does the game scale on a 10inches screen.

Does it scales fine or you don't see and it's unplayable because it's small?

I'm sure it will be fine even though its going to be small as balls. You should probably make sure you're in the clear for video though. Even though the game isn't Crysis. Integrated will make the gameplay very lossy I would think for the Sims2.
