Mouse Keeps Dying

The light on it goes out and it doesn't work for a few seconds, then I get a little message saying I plugged it back in, even though I never unplugged it in the first place.

Is this more likely to be a mouse issue or a computer issue? Do I need to go buy a new mouse?

If it is wireless, you might need to charge it. Re update your drivers from the mouse's online software company, open the mouse software prog and do the settings, click apply. Also it might have an active gaming profile trying to take over the mouse settings upon launch of whatever program the controller is assigned to change settings with. If you are using Windows OS and have not installed the drivers that come with the mouse, it is probably using windows default mouse drivers.

my mouse does this, or did once or twice a day last week but hasn't for the past few days. I think my problem is that my connections in the back of my computer seem really loose in general as my headphones can easily be 'unplugged' just by having the cord nudged. Try putting some duct tape around the usb plug to make sure it stays still if it gets pulled on a bit
