    Can I import my PS1 saves from my PS3 onto a memory stick duo?

    I was gonna' dabble on FF9 on muh PS3, but don't want to restart when I get my memory stick duo next week. Could I start now and just transfer the save data when I get the memory stick duo?

    FYI it's the PSN downloaded FF9

    Yes. I used to go back in fourth with my saves when I played in my house and when I commuted. Just use a USB cord to connect your PSP to your PS3. There's instructions on the internet somewhere that'll explain the rest.

    I think if you have a 60gb ps3 you can just plug the memory sticks into the ports under the flap on the left as well.

    I'm curious as to whether or not you can use a ps1 save (from either the internal memory cards, or the memory card adapter) with the new psp/ps3 versions of the game.

    I have a PS1 memory card but the converter doesn't read it leading me to believe the connector is damaged or I'd be able to answer that. ;-;

    I just tried this out, and it works.

    I started a file on my hard copy of FF7, saved, then loaded it on my PSN copy.
