I'm only 23 but I have read the book. I found it very moving and funny. I think Julia was a good casting choice. I'm hoping this is a hit for her.

I'm hoping the movie is an accurate adaption of the book. The book isnt so much a romantic book as it is a book about self worth and self discovery. Knowing julia tho, her films tend to be of the romantic nature. What made this book so good was rather than being about finding love, it was about loving yourself and finding a balance in life between pleasure, respect and worship.

This movie will likely appeal more to woman than men, but honestly if any of you boys read the book, you probably would like it if you can read it as person and not a man, lol.

Movie also stars Javier Bardem, the awesome James Franco and James Cromwell.

The only negative thing I have to say is.. isnt the lovely and talented Viola davis sick of playing.. The black best friend? She plays that role alot..

Sounds terrible.

"Educated" woman gets dicked over and instead of acting rationally, travels to India to indulge in hocus-pocus nonsense to make herself feel better about the fact that sometimes life sucks and you just have to get the fuck over it.
