AGP card viable for modern gaming

Hey all,

I currently am running a XFX GeForce 7950 GT AGP 8X 512MB which runs FFXI smoothly at high settings. I don't play many other PC games but the ones I have (Oblivion and other online MMOs) run fine at medium/high settings, as well.

However, I want to push this AGP to its limits before I have to buy another PC, because I'm not going to buy a mediocre system... I'll force myself to buy the most high end PC so I'm waiting as long as I can to do that.

I want the best AGP card I can get. This is the best one I could find: HIS HD 4670 IceQ Native HDMI 1GB (128bit) DDR3 AGP. Can anything beat this card or is it even worth purchasing over the one I currently use?

That's the best agp card out there. Though its only worth purchasing if you'll need its power for what your doing. You say your present card runs the games you play smoothly, so it makes more sense to save the cash for your next system. Unless you want to tweek things a bit more and you wont be just tossing the pc.
