I've been using it for a long time, but I recently did a re-install and my tech friend from FFXI isn't around anymore to ask. Could you guys tell me what settings I need to have on, and what is fluff that I can turn off?

Just want to be as safe as possible. I build PCs, but when it comes to keyloggers and spyware, I'm not too educated.

Personally I just have it set to forbid everything, and just allow stuff on an individual basis. It's make going to websites for the first time a pain since I sometimes have to easteregg around to enable what I want, but seems far far safer then any other option.

I do the same. It's annoying sometimes when sites load scripts from external sites with different names, but after awhile you can pick them out pretty easily because you can recognize the names of the ad sites.

Block almost everything cept well known websites. Then give temp permission to the rest, and yes it is a pain in the ass.
