    The Appraisal of your synthesized items increases?

    It just randomly gave me this message after I synthesized something. Happened quite a bit after reaching rank 7. Did not happen as I reached it.

    I wonder if this means that getting HQs is not dependant on rank ? Or maybe it is and certain ranks open up how many tiers of that message you can get?

    Were you crafting for a guildleve? Rewards in crafting leves depend on how much appraisal you recieve, which is related to the quality of the finished items if I'm not wrong. Pretty sure I've only see that message while doing leves, but I might be mistaken/confused.
