Which monitors should we get?

Pretty much exactly what the title says.

Husband and I got new computers:

(HP - Pavilion Elite Desktop / AMD Phenom™ II Processor / 8GB Memory / 1TB Hard Drive ... Model: HPE-210y - would post link but I haven't logged 10 posts yet..)

and now we'd like to replace the old monitors we've had for a few years. The PCs aren't that great, I know. So I guess the monitors wouldn't have to be super amazing either. Currently his is a 15" HP LCD and mine is a 17" LiquidVideo LCD. I know we want something larger than we currently have but other than that- I don't know much about monitors. We're looking forward to enjoying the graphics of XIV and new monitors would be an awesome way to do it.

What would you suggest we get? All the tech sites I've been looking at say conflicting things so I though I'd ask some of the coolest geeks around.

Not sure if that's the current lowest price you can get it for but it's a good screen. They're also available in different sizes. There's also a good samsung one but I can't recall the model. I think it's more expensive too. Maybe someone here will suggest it.

I just purchased the model Omniyoji suggested and it's been wonderful so far. The sale I got it for was only $10 cheaper so I can't imagine it getting significantly cheaper than it is right now.

I've got almost the exact same model and it's fucking awesome. Doesn't get quite as loud as I might like it to but you can buy cheap speakers.

Also, especially for MMOs, consider using multiple displays. Minimizing windows is so 1990's. Keep your old monitors and just set them up off to the side for multitasking while you play.

How long have you had it? I see a lot of the negative reviews on newegg talk about it crapping out after 8 months to a year of use.

I've had 2 for over a year running dual, literally i never turn them off, they always auto-shut off from a inactive timer, and my friend has had 1 for 8 months, still run flawless.

Get 2 of these, they're amazing. Speakers beat any others out there, has 2x HDMI, DVI, VGA, Component, and can be used as a TV. It's cheaper than the one above too.
